A couple of months ago when I opened my shop, I realized that I am hopelessly drawn to vintage kitchen ware. I love old cooking tools, cast iron pans, and copper dessert molds, but I am especially fond of teapots, teacups, and anything else that fits in with a vintage inspired tea setting. The great thing about a vintage inspired tea setting is that your items don’t all have to be vintage, and they don’t even all have to match. It’s totally okay to mix your grandmother’s silver teapot with teacups from Crate and Barrel or Target. It’s also okay to combine different china patterns or use a mix-matched set of linens. Most importantly, never be afraid to use an item for something other than what it was intended for. There have been plenty of times that I’ve used a creamer to hold jam, or a teacup as a candy dish, without any complaints. I mean, why not? In my opinion there are no rules, as long as you love the pieces you’re using!
Several items from my initial lot have sold, but I have added many more in the past few weeks and will continue to build my vintage tea collection. Here are a few items that are currently available….
Tea & Sugar Canisters / Black Industrial Tea Kettle / Ceramic Platter / Mini Teacup With Gold Trim / Brass Dessert Pedestal / Retro Pink Teacups / Milk Glass Creamer / Limoges Teacups / Gothic Style Creamer
